Alejandro Sala in his extensive archive includes images of famous architectural firms. For the past 30 years, he has logged thousands of miles capturing architectural buildings. With his combined passion for documentary architecture photography, Sala’s photographs reveal his innate ability to re-appropriate our available urban space, volume, form to find an architectural representation through the design of light in his photography.

Mr Sala gets inspiration from American Photographer Hedrich Blessing can you see the use of light in architecture at One Canada Square, London 2008, by Cesar Pelli architects, or the Renzo Piano building at Sydney, boot in Black and white.
Alejandro Sala uses middle and large format cameras to take the buildings photography. He is an extraordinary master in photography techniques and his virtuosity in the darkroom, using the traditional analogue process based on the translation of light into precise tonals value relationship.
